From through I published a small newsletter called the BigfooTimes one word. The purpose of the occasional bulletin was to inform readers of news about unknown hairy bipeds from North America and other parts of the world, in addition to related matters. It was a different world at that time, as the newsletter was produced using an electric typewriter.

The BigfooTimes was stapled, double-sided white paper, 8. In I self published a book called Big Footnotes and as the subtitle stated it was a comprehensive bibliography concerning Bigfoot, the Abominable Snowmen and related beings. I made a valiant attempt to list all the books I knew of that were about the subject of Bigfoot.

In with self publishing, the website Amazon and the internet, there appears to be a never ending stream of books on the Bigfoot subject, with some possessing more scholarship within the pages than others. In this massive , all encompassing listing I along with volunteers am making another valiant attempt, this time on the internet, rather than a printed book, so just about anyone who has a library card or access to the web can see what has been published on this fascinating topic.

In essence, the manner of listing for all the books will grow and mature as better ideas for a compilation are brought to my attention. The main focus will be Bigfoot, which is also referred to as Sasquatch. But the listing will not simply be limited to Bigfoot, as I intend to cover related beings that seem to share some of the hallmarks of reported Bigfoot sightings in that they are hairy and upright.

So the listing will also encompass the Almas, Yeti also known as the Abominable Snowmen ; Yeren; Yowie; Orang Pendek; Skunk Ape; Wendigo and other similar cryptozoological beings that are reported to inhabit planet Earth. With ever passing year the list will no doubt grow and this independent compilation will far exceed any listing the Library of Congress has maintained.
